Student Essay Contest on Anti-Corruption

Challenge: Future 2011/12 and the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) invite youth ages 18 to 13 years old to participate in an essay contest that addresses how to fight corruption in a manner that will have the strongest impact to prevent or significantly reduce corruption.   The winner will participate in the PRME Summit in Brussels in June (costs covered).

On 15 April in commemoration of World Entrepreneurship Day, Global Opportunities Albania has distributed a survey on business ethics to students and alumni from universities throughout Albania.  The survey aims to assess the extent to which students and alumni feel there are adequate resources available on business ethics.

The ten-question survey takes only five minutes and can be accessed here.

Challenge: Future Youth Think Tank & Global Student Innovation Competition

CEEMAN’s is hosting another competition called Challenge:Future Youth Think Tank & Global Student Innovation Competition.  Youth between the ages of 18 and 30 can participate in three new challenges with a variety of prizes.  C:F aims at creating a community of talent and ideas for a sustainable world through contests, experience exchange, and collaboration with peers and experts from all over the world.More information can be found on the links below:

Global Social Venture Competition

The Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) is a student-led business plan competition providing mentoring, exposure and prizes for social ventures from around the world. The mission of the GSVC is to catalyze the creation of social ventures, educate future leaders and build awareness of social enterprises.  The competition supports the creation of real businesses that bring about positive social change in a sustainable manner.

The competition for 2012 is open.  The grand prize is USD 45,000.
